Clean living allows you to wake up early which makes for a long day which will make it harder for me to keep my smoking under a pack a day.
I may not have gone over a pack yesterday. That would be an improvement in light of the fact that Lisa appears to have joined Jessica in not lighting up. Ted, I'm trying to "do what is best for everyone," but they make call for different things.
From my observation, it was easier for Lisa to give them up than Jessica. Jess wore her glasses and not contacts to the old pizza place yesterday. This makes her look a little older. She helped out with the 4-year-old son of a doctor while I did have a cigarette with his wife.
She's 28 and said she kicked the smoking habit about 6 years ago but recently restarted. I could only say it happens. It seems her husband is a whole lot more upset with her return than my husband was with mine.
I also got an e-mail from my friend Nell. She said she has kicked the habit upon return from the swimming outing. She said her daughter Jacki, a year older than Jessica, has also kicked the habit.
Ned, her son a year older than Lisa, fell prey to the pressure and quit which is probably the main reason Lisa has now quit. Middle schools need stop smoking programs.
While Nell said she was not sure she could do it, she said she was surprised that the other woman she brought along, Kendra, the other mom, has not stopped her summer fun times.
While at the swim outing, Kendra said she has never been addicted to smoking and does not plan to be. So, we should leave it at the fact that Nell thinks she is smoking several cigarettes a day yet says she will not be addicted. You really don't know addiction until you try to stop in my opinion.
I keep up with Nell because she is an old friend and Lisa likes her son Ned. Jessica likes Kendra's son Rusty. She has good taste.
Nell and Kendra are in rather thick in the town where they live. Nell's son Norman goes with Kendra's daughter Jacki. Kendra son Tom like Jacki. Wonder if he likes her not smoking? I know Rusty does not which makes me appreciate Jessica's home boyfriend Walt.
We think Jess will have her slate clear to slip over and visit my sister which will actually be a chance to see Rusty play a junior varsity football game. Jess would like to remind him that she is a freshman on the varsity volleyball team. We shall see.
For the others. Cathy, stay away from bicycles. Brenda, stay away from cigarettes. Come in everyone. I'm sure Ted had an important omission. He just wants one of us to spank him while dangling a 120. Cathy, Susan, anyone...
