Welcome Janice. Cathy and I have been having a lot of fun lately at night. You are welcome to join us. Ted, come in. We can talk with you instead of about you. Hope some others get in on the sort of chat at night. We could call it chatter.
I was talking about Cindi, who is not quite 11 and looking very much like a child, was parading around smoking a cigarette. Well, her big sister Shelli is regarded as very much a fine young lady.
She is going with Lee, the son of a physician now and a sports legend in his day. Shelli, who will be 14 next month, arrived here a smoker and quit. Well, she was quit until last week when she yielded to pressure.
Lee encourages her smoking and she had a weekend of smoking. She told her mother and Cindi yesterday afternoon that she was giving up smoking and returning to pre-season workouts. Friday was pretty much a wasted day for her.
However exciting she was to Lee, she was charming to his parents. Peggy, the mom, is really impressed. Lee, my middle son and Gus, a nephew, are trying to make the football team as a freshman. My oldest did that last year but the team has so many upperclassmen the coach has said even the best freshmen may be on the junior varsity this fall.
So, go Janice. Come in Megan, Ted and all.
