Thanks to all for the support of Cathy, especially those who heeded my call for help for Cathy.
I hate to speculate on why Joy's mother does not want her going to that church. I know affairs exist but they are probably also thought of when that is not the case. I sure hope it never is the case among my friends.
It seems Faith and Alice, old friends who left jobs together to start back in college in July, have different ideas about their future. Alice is considering going back to work as soon as this current summer session ends.
Faith is not at all things that way. She wants to stay in college, letting her current romance play out.
So it goes there. When the real session starts, Faith may be needing a roommate. The roomie needs to be mature. Another party girl won't hurt.
There were a few visitors. Both involved Martin, the freshman who wants to be starting quarterback. Lefty, who ended up the quarterback last year, told him welcome. He said he expects to be put back in the secondary anyway.
Lefty is sort of a special guy. He often used me as a target as a tight end.
Don't tell anybody he can't throw downfield. I've been working out with Martin. He can throw all the passes.
Bree's parents came to visit and she did not smoke while they were around. She goes with Martin right now.
Bree's mother saw all the smokers and said she hoped Bree did not take it up. Apparently Bree was surprised when her mother said she took up smoking way to young and really got addicted in college.
Jim has dated Bev, the daughter of Barbara, the woman Wilma's oldest brother married. That girl is coming in the fall as a pure freshman but a mature one. She's been smoking several years. I would rather not guide a relative, even if it is a relative of Wilma's by marriage.
Bee is another prospect for a roommate for Faith. She left for the summer and left a pipe she was trying with Wilma. Nobody has smoked that thing in weeks.
