We're off to the university to see our daughter graduate. She will be the first college graduate in the family. The very good news is that Kendra is fine. My son, Keith Jr., called to say that she came in from her date fine.
Jorge, her date, is also at the college. It seems Keith and his date doubled with Kendra, who is about to graduate from high school, and Jorge, the college boy from here.
A few minutes later Kendra called from a college dorm. She called from the room of Keith's date. However, the date was still with Keith. Maybe I should worry about Keith.
A lot of students are gone with the graduation. We're going to spend the night.
Holly, my 15-year-old, will spend the night in the college dorm tonight. She is thrilled.
The whole family will be there for the graduation and dinner afterward. We've reserved a block of rooms and expect most of the family.
Holly and I are getting in our last cigarettes before departing.
