After a long night at the old ballpark, we're getting ready to leave for the girls game at the college. The boys were eliminated last night. Walt pitched them to a 1-0 win in the opener of the doubleheader but they lost the second game 9-7. Boyd had the only hit for us in the first game but it was a home run. He hit 2 in the second game. The boys had lost when the girls won Thursday night.
The girls were at last night's boys game, acting like there was not going to be a game today.
Lisa acted like she was grown up, running of the smoke with Laura and other girls their age.
Kelli and Heather had dates and seemed to disappear to smoke. I think Jess had one after Walt won his game but did not even appear to smoke after that. Me? No smoking. Good example.
Jess went off with Neely and Alyson after the first game. That was the only time they disappeared long enough to smoke. Neely and Alyson double dated for the night.
I have to wonder if now that Alyson found a way into the lineup she is smoking, also.
Teresa had 3 while Walt pitched and none during the second game. Ann, Boyd and Darla's mother, did not smoke at all. Teresa confirmed that Neely did smoke a cigar after her big game Thursday night.
I'm amazed that Quincy's older mom tried cigarettes. You just never know. Bernadine was not there to take cigarettes from her daughter. She was not at the game. I let you know the results later.
