I woke up this morning and lit a pipe instead of my usual Marlboro Menthols. My husband said I cannot go to work smelling like I smoked a pipe, especially not Borkum Riff Cherry Liqueur, my newest brand.
He called the brand semi horrible as compared to some menthol pipe tobacco I had tried. He did not smoke last night when we went out with the usual 20-something members of the expanded family. 20 is the age.
When we got in, I wanted a hit on my pipe. I had another drink. I error on the side of Vodka when I fix Bloody Marys. That's my drink of choice over Magaritas or beer, which everyone else we socialize with seems to drink.
To make a long story short, I called in today for a number of reasons, I called in. My husband went to work. I hope he comes home for lunch and stays.
