Megan, if you start smoking again Jessica and Lisa will find out and they'll smoke like chimneys. Word gets around fast in a small town like Marble Falls.

The playoff series for the girls at our school starts Friday night but my weekend has started. Anticipating an adventurous weekend, I stopped off and bought 2 packs of Marlboros are taking the kids to school.
There are several reasons for smoking again. Gloria has been trying to get me to have lunch at the country club with her so I figured I could work that in while smoking. I can expect my husband home soon after they close the office at 2 today. He's leaving his credit card with the girls at his office and coming to see me before any of the kids get out of school.
I will try not to let my kids know I am smoking today but I have bought 2 packs of Marlboro Lights for my daughters. When we get to the motel Friday, they can come in our room to smoke. They have the adjoining room.
No telling what will happen when all us nutty parents gather. The excuse for this orgy at the motel is softball playoffs scheduled Friday night at 7 and Saturday at 4. If a third game is necessary, it will be at 7 Saturday. All the games will be in the town with the motel.
Our excuse for going is that my oldest, Jessica, has been told that she will step from middle school to the vacant second base position. Most of the excuses for being there are that they are players' families.
I also think I need to chaparon some of the parents that Cameron and Clay's parents have given up on. Cameron, who goes with Neely on the team, and Clay are regarded as the perfect children. That's because their parents are perfect.
Parents are assured the players will be closely watched. They have free time until midnight when there will be a bedcheck Saturday night.
Then they are required to be at breakfast a 9 in the morning. They will also be required to have a light lunch at 1 and "stay together until they get the job done."
