I only backslid once but if seems like I had a thousand cravings. It was really tough getting coffee for myself this morning and not smoking.
Jessica and Lisa, my daughters, also did not smoke before school this morning. Lisa asked if either of us slipped, could she have just one little pack of cigarettes. Jess said she won't tell he little sister if she slips. Jess rode to school today with Cameron, Clay, Neely and Walt. Clay is Cameron's little brother Jessica's age. He goes to middle school with Jessica and friends.
Cameron now goes with Neely, who's little brother Walt, is now going with Jessica. Because of Walt, Jess is not smoking. Matter of fact, Neely is not smoking although she had a couple of puffs Saturday night in my view but out of Cameron's view.
On the other hand, Darla, is smoking and her little brother, Boyd, an ex of Jessica, carries a can of snuff around.
It's so simple for me to avoid smoking today and take one day at a time. I've declined on a lunch with the smoking mothers of April, Elaine and Michelle, who's girls are friends with Jessica.
No golf with Gloria either. Ted was asking. My expert Jessica said getting drunk will not hurt Hillary in running this weekend. Laurel, Hillary's drinking buddy, was also smoking.
I do have to withstand the temptation of going to my husband's office. I need to be there a couple of hours so I can see if anyone other than Caroline is following up on their smoking. All smoked Thursday when my husband took them to lunch on their short day.
