I didn't smoke and neither did Jessica but last night was sickening. Darla, Boyd's sister, is called Little Dipper. I found out why. She took a dip from Boyd and held it in her mouth the whole time her team warmed up. She spit along the way and spit the whole load out shortly before the real game started.
"Isn't that gross," Ann, Darla and Boyd's mother, said to Teresa, Neely and Walt's mother. Teresa said Big Dipper was a about a 30-second dipper and she was glad of that. Neely is about 6 feet tall and Darla, a mere 5-5.
Boyd is like 6 feet and fully framed though only a sophomore. Instead of a round container of snuff in his back pocket, he actually had Redman --the real stuff -- which he left in his mother's car. Back to heights. Walt beats Jess by 3 inches as far as height. I expect Walt to grow although his mother is only about Jessica's height.
Jess and Walt were considerable distance away as a conversation about the gross took place. In another trading places situation, Ann went off with Lauren for what was most likely a smoke. Teresa calmly watched the game. On the mound, Neely was clearly in control.
Lisa was hanging around with Laura, the 12-year-old daughter of Lauren. Lisa got a ride to this from softball practice. She's on a team with Laura. Lauren's older daughter Laurel was playing second base. She's the only senior on the team who plays regularly.
After the game, Laura went home with her mother. They also took Lisa. Neely, Darla and Lauren got in the car with Cameron, the good boy who now goes with Neely. You have to think those girls were up to no good. Boyd rode with his mom who also took Michelle home. Wonder if Michelle smoked and shared with Ann?
Teresa went home alone. In a non-smoking vehicle, I had a route to take Clay, then April and then Walt home before we went home.
Sitting around watching the news, Jess dropped a downer on me. She said she was pretty sure Lisa smoked with Laura at the game. I told her to take care of herself and I will keep an eye on Lisa.
Today is my husband's short day. Last week they closed and he took his staff to a late lunch. He reported all 6 women had at least one cigarette last time they had their fun gathering. For all but one, that's not a regular thing. You could never say it's out of character. Nothing is really out of character.
I'm off to deliver paychecks and buy a pack of Reds. It's been 24 days since I had a multi-cigarette smoking today.
