I took Jessica to the boys game which was about 30 minutes from our house. The girls will not playing. As we pulled up in the parking lot, it was clear Hillary had apparently not qualified in an event in the regional track meet.
She was smoking in the car with Laurel, a senior on the softball team which did not have a game last night.
I think they have a playoff game Monday.
Jessica said yuck when she saw the girls, especially Hillay, smoking. In the game, Boyd struck out 3 times and hit a grand slam home run. Walt pitched one good inning as the coach apparently set up is relief pitching for the playoffs. Last night was their last of the regular season.
Darla slipped off to smoke 2 or the 4 times Laurel and Hillary went back to the car. Neely came to the game with Cameron. Clay, Cameron's brother, had a date with Millicent, who is only Jessica's age.
While Millicent got to go on a double date, she apparently did not smoke. Neither did Teresa or Ann, mothers of Neely and Darla.
I plan to smoke on my date tonight with my husband. My parents are coming to stay with the kids. They will go to their motel room when we return. They say to take your time. Lisa spent the night at her friend Laura's house. That's not an ideal situation but what can you say?
