We were not so lucky. The girls went for for series deal too. The girls have a game at our field tonight and one or 2 as needed at their field Saturday. The boys have 2 games starting at 4 Friday at this college and a third game, if necessary, Saturday. It's on a senior college college campus so Jess is thrilled.
I'm sure she will do nothing to spoil Walt's disposition. He was pretty effective Tuesday and could be the starter in the third game.
Walt's older (and taller) sister Neely will pitch all the girls games. With her kids expected to be on the spot, Teresa is a bundle of nerves. Never means stress and stress means smoking.
Neely and Walt are the calmest of all.
For the boys, Boyd needs to have his home run bat and not his his strike out bat. Pitching would help.
We can expect Neely to be steady on the mound and hit well. Darla and Laurel take chance on and off the field. They are extremely athletic and exciting players.
At home, Lisa is most likely smoking although she came home for dinner and did not smoke after that. I told her in private that if she went outside tonight, I wanted to go with her.
The little smart a$$ asked if I wanted a cigarette or to be sure she did not smoke. I was stirring spagheti sauce and started to throw the spoon at her. That would have been a bloody looking mess. I just said if you go outside, all we will get is fresh air.
The bottom line is she did not smoke last night and neither did I.
I will take Jessica and Lisa if she wants to go to the games. I already vetoed her going to any games with Laura and her permissive mother.
Jess wanted to go with Hillary and Zac but Hillary has become the fastest developing smoker in history so that's out. Charlotte, the girl next door, will go with Zac and Hillary. I hope Michelle, who likes Boyd, does not ask us for a ride.
I'm sure she is looking for a smoking ride.
