Hello Bob and all. Thursday was whoops day for me. I was doing fine until my husband called rather early on his short day and said he was coming home.
I dug out the pack of Marlboros I stashed. When he got home, I smoked one. Then we did what a husband and wife does when they have a chance.
After that, he said he would get the kids (3 youngest) and let me rest. His exit woke me up so I suggested I go have another cigarette and then we could go together to get the kids. He was all for that. While out smoking, we found Lisa's stash of Marlboro ultra lights. That could have come only from my sister's house and very likely courtesy of my sister's 12-year-old daughter Colleen.
He suggested moving them and she what Lisa said.
Later Jessica came home and we went to the girl's playoff game. I left my Reds at home. We got there early. Ann and Teresa were smoking. Their daughters, Darla and Neely, are stars of the team. Jessica likes Teresa's son Walt. She once had the attention of Boyd, a sophomore who's butt has my attention. Don't tell my husband. Hehe.
While Jess ran along to get with Walt, I bummed a Marlboro Light from Teresa. Wish she had a Red. Hillary, the newly adopted smoker, came with Zack, the golfer. She stood with us and finished her cigarette. Despite not playing golf in high school, she is a good golfer. She said she would have a tryout at the same college the boys are playing at Saturday.
I need to pay Ann and Teresa back. I ran out 2 more times, getting a Marlboro Light from each. The girl's team showed no ill effects from their Tuesday night victory celebration.
I guess the opponents wanted a playoff series to see if they could get our team tired. Last night, they won 11-1 on the 10-run rule.
The other team hosts the next one of 2 games. They start at 10 in the morning so our party girls will have to get up early.
I don't know what I'll do about smoking. I already had one this morning after getting everybody off. My husband said Lisa went out, failed to find her pack, and came back without comment.
