I was just writing about my day Thursday last night when boom, lightning struck and the lights went out. Here it is after noon and we are just getting services restored. It's great to have candles around and lighters handy to light them.
I was going to speculate that I hoped all got their games in before the rains hit. We had rain for about 20 minutes and then came the big hit. There was not much hail before or after the lights went out.
Today is my Abby's 17th birthday. Among her gifts were a carton of Winstons. I really don't know why she likes those things. We will cut the cake tonight before she goes out on a date.
Her older 2 sisters will be hree. These days Bonnie goes out with her fiancee pretty often while Connie and George bring their boy over and sit around.
