Subject: FROM APHOTO CONTEST JUDGE

From a judges point of online contests I have to say not all contests are on the up and up including the ones being mentioned on this board. I recently judged one that has been mentioned on this board. After turning in my scores I see new photos being added and I know I did not score them. That tells me something. Contest owners make sure all your photos are posted before getting them judged it just not right and I am a very fair judge. I will not say what contest it was but do hope the owner gets my drift. I would like to tell the parents to stop all the retouching. Most of the photos are not pretty anyone. They look like fake dolls with fake eyes. Some of the photos have very enlarged eyes and they look awful. I can't stand looking at some of the photos now. Get back to the basic photos people. Why even have photogenic when it is just a painted photo that isn't real. There are several great contests out there but some of the contests lately are jokes. There is one lady that owns like 4 contests and that is one you want to watch for. She adds photos after scores are turned in. Then they tell you that certain photographer photos need to win. These are some of your big paying contests. The photo contest I just judged that was announced a few nights ago had some of the worst photos I have ever judged.

or online judges of people she knows! I have told her before that I judge all the time online for other contest and she told me no. That is was nothing against me but she would never let another pageant mom or anyone deeply involved with pagents judge cause of all the COI and that she promised when she opened her pc, that she would never get involved with that and wanted to run a fair and honest contest as if it was one she was putting her dd in and she wanted everyone to have a fair shot! I think she is real honest and some may not like the outcome when it comes down to the wire but that is just the way it goes, just like at pageants!
