Al,

I remember Friday Night Fifties so well. I was in my teens when I would listen to Bobby Jay play the '50s music on a Friday night. I remember back in the early '90s he did a spotlight show on Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers that was so exceptional. Bobby's knowledge and antedotes made the shows so good. Even his approach to the Doo Wop Shop when he subbed for Don K. Reed was also great because he played a lot of rarities and many songs that Don K. normally didn't play. I miss those days, and unless time will prove otherwise, I just don't see it happening on this latest incarnation of CBS-FM.
