Hi Ed. It's sad in a way isn't it that as great as the "sound" is that it isn't exactly the same as it use to be. But then nothing is ever really the same right? And it's funny because I was just 2 weeks ago trying to explain to my young adult sons how our old "albums" sounded so good to us white noise & all & I got such an odd look. LOL Almost as odd as when we try to explain what 8 track tapes are.

& yes I heard that "flub" earlier of Pat St.John though I missed the end of it because we were on the deck eating dinner & I said to hubby "did I hear correct? Did he say they're playing 50's, 60's and 70's?" & hubby only heard that part too the rest was garbbled to us! And I have to say it was he who slipped in Chuck Berry.......... :) I don't think it would take to much asking to get the DJ's to play the 50's stuff. LOL
