Subject: Cousin Brucie's Observations about the New York Audience

I listened to the interviews with Cousin Brucie on WOR and WCBS-AM. In both interviews he made an observation about the audience in New York the attitude of the city and how New York is a different market.

He made the same observations two years ago when Jack-FM entered our lives. he was 100% right then and he is now.

Forget whether New York is a rock town or not! Jack-FM did not in any way relate to the culture, the pace and the attitude of New York.

This post is not designed to offend anyone around the country who is reading this but the idea that if it works in a smaller market it will work in New York does not apply. Especially this automated thing called Jack.

Automated stations may save money but in the end, they don't work in the city. They never have and they never will.

Even though in one sense CBS Radio saved money, they lost in the end.
