James hon you've heard the expression "all good things must come to an end"? Some day our radio station will more than likely be gone it's true but I don't think we need to go borrowing trouble right? I mean my mother just loved the music from the 40's and now to find that music you'd have to go buy CD's, go online or find it on Music choice on Cablevision. The farther away we get from a particular decade the less likely we're going to get to hear the music from then. This is true even on an "oldies station" because what is old to the new adults is still "pop music" to the older set. :)

You know the prediction of the end of "50's &/or 60's music" is like someone predicting that one day I'll no longer live. Yea it's going to happen but that doesn't mean I shouldn't take care of myself & I don't want to sit around having someone tell me all is doomed because of that fact. I'd rather fight for health & to listen to the great music as long as I can rather than sitting around whining & crying & wasting the time & great times of life before it's all gone. :) The prediciton will some day come true but we've got some great music on the radio as we speak & once again we can snooze tonight to the music we love. What happens tomorrow happens tomorrow. :)
