Larry-This is very bad news. I read the article in the Sun Times online yesterday. WRLL was the first oldies station I listened to online. I listened to WRLL even while we still had CBS-FM because they played a lot of 50's music. Since WJMK switched to Jack the same day we lost CBS-FM WRLL has expanded their playlist by adding 60's music. Along with WLNG, WJMK-HD, WRLL is one of my favorite oldies stations online. Yes, I love Larry Lujack and Tommy Edwards. I listened to them this morning and I will miss them. I am aware of the weak signal and the low ratings of the station but I guess Clear Channel would rather sell brokered shows than pay 2 legends like Tommy Edwards and Larry Lujack. I am aware it is a business. Unfortunatly there are very few real oldies stations that play oldies from the 50's and 60's left. I will suggest to anybody who wants to listen to real oldies if we lose to WRLL to go to www. wvkz.com. It is an excellent small market station.
