Subject: Doo Wop is coming to East Brunswick, NJ

The East Brunswick Public Library will host a show on Sunday, July 15 featuring the group SideWalk Serenade. Of course, it's free! It's sponsored by the Friends of The Library, of which I'm one.

Earlier this month, the East Brunswick Public Library had a week long celebration marking its 40th anniversary, calling it "From Tie Dye to WiFi". They had a classic car show and a DJ spinning 50s and 60s music. Everybody had a great time that day. And yes, all ages were present.

People don't want to hear this music? CBS is entitled to their opinion. The local Shop Rite supermarket in nearby Spotswood changed its music from elevator to 50s and 60s oldies in response to shopper request. At least supermarkets respond to their customers! That's more than I can say for CBS.
