Alan - This is terrible news. According to the new WCBS FM Back to the Oldies Board, posters are reporting WOGL in Philly ignores pre '64 music. I believe this is also the case in LA and San Francisco on CBS owned "oldies" stations. I am very pesimistic about this situation. I think the word "oldies" in newspaper headlines and articles may be misleading and we will be getting something very different from what many of us are expecting or hoping for. But we have to give it a chance before we can really critize it. I hope I am wrong - we'll see.
