Charlie-I am a huge fan of pre 1964 Oldies like you are and that music should be played on an Oldies station because without Chuck Berry, Elvis and others there would be no Rock and Roll but the best we can hope for on CBS-FM is a HOF Show on Sunday Nights like the one Norm N. Nite hosted from the Rock And Roll HOF with pre 1964 music. There are very few oldies stations around the country that play pre 1964 music which is wrong but I am still thrilled that Oldies on CBS-FM is coming back. I do not think anybody expected CBS-FM to play much pre 1964 music. I subscribe to both Sirius and XM and if I want to listen to pre 1964 music, I will simply turn on XM or Sirius Radio and it will be there for me.
