Unfortunately because this will be the only oldies station in New York, it is put in the position of "you can't please everybody." No matter what they do and how they do it, it won't be right for some people and it will please others.

As I said on Bob Shannon's Behind the Hits board, I think tomorrow at 1.01 PM, we should take a little time out of our day and toast to the return of CBS-FM.

There will be plenty of time to critique the overall sound and presentation of the station but for now, let's enjoy something that many thought would never happen. It's a time for celebration.
