The late John Lennon said "A Conspiracy of silence speaks louder than words". By silently turning our radio dials away from 101.1 FM we have spoken loud in rejected the Jack format. I am disappointed that the recording artists of the 1950s-1970s era were not vocal last June. WCBS-FM and other oldies stations kept their music alive. They have certainly lost much with the demise of oldies on the radio.
