There are many wasted stations especially on AM with low ratings who make very little money who would do well with oldies. I am quite sure you know who they are. Many years ago K-Rock dropped classic Rock. It took a long time for a new station to pop up. In fact besides Q104, WNEW-FM switched to classic rock at the same time. If a station that is doing poorly had guts they would switch to oldies they would do well. Let's face it, who listens to WBBR, WQEW AND WMCA. If Salem leased out WMCA or The NY Times leased out WQEW they would have a winner. But again these station have syndicated shows and they do not have to pay DJ's.
