Although it is 11 months since that terrible day in June of last year, I have not given up hope that oldies will return 24 hours a day in New York on regular over the air radio.

Although both Sirius and XM offer specific channels for music from different decades, I am not convinced that most Americans are ready to pay for radio at least not yet.

Despite what people at ad agencies want you to believe, I still feel the audience that listens to oldies is very viable and will support a station that plays this music and does it the right way.
