Jean, I have to say thankyou for agreeing with me 100%. I to was a long time fan and as the format changed I learned to evolve with it, you may be wondering was I happy about the cut of pre 1964 songs, no but being a long time listener I stayed tuned and stuck it out. The reason being, was that WCBS-FM was family I may not have seen them everyday but I heard them everyday, and it got me through alot of traffic jams and long trips. Like many others on this message board have said there will never be another oldies radio station like WCBS-FM but I like many others hold on to the hope that just maybe there will be, we'll just have to wait and see. Like the old saying goes never give up hope.
