I agree with your choice of preferred jingle packages on WCBS FM.

One thing I always wanted to know. If they thought they were sounding like Music Radio WABC, then why didn't they use some of the old Pams packages during their run as an oldies station?

I am not being critical of them. As is the case with so many other people, I miss them.

I realize they were not permitted to use the jingles they got for the reunion weekends except during the actual events however the rest of the time very few that were similar to the music radio days of WABC were heard on the air. This despite the fact that Joe McCoy claimed they were similar to 77 AM which other than having some of the jocks from those days, they were not.
