Thanks Larry. You have good insight regarding the internal politics of radio.

Most of the users of this board look at the situation from the perspective of listeners, and we have no real clue as to why certain decisions were (or are) being made in the business. To us, the logic often seems shallow and terribly flawed.

As far as CHWO, I don't think that comments regaring this station are terribly 'off topic'. Discussions regarding the demise of WCBS-FM seem to have run their course, and many posts deal with alternatives for former listeners who now have no place to go but satelite or internet.
