Subject: Some interesting facts

Last week, I happened to do business with a young executive from CBS Radio. He admitted to me their FM stations are all doing poorly. He also told me that JACK-FM will be lucky if they bill $15MM in 2006!

How about some more! I was in the Barnes & Noble in East Brunswick yesterday and they were playing the Barry Manilow 50s CD over the store's PA system. We're talking about the #1 selling CD! Whether radio executives like it or not, that's the way it is!

One more! The misguided soul at the Transportation Center gave up on Scott & Todd and switched the dial back to soft rock Magic 98.3. I guess he finally realized Christmas is long since past!
