I think their switch to Jack was part of their ( Infinity's) plan-- They did it in Chicago, and I heard it happen to their Baltimore station last Spring ( which was another complete air personality purge), and was listening that fateful day this past June 3rd. To Infinity and the Madison Ave guys, we're not the demographic they want--surprising since we(the Boomers) are still the largest segment of the overall population, and where we are in our careers, the most financially sound--with the most money to spend. Maybe if someone decided to start another Oldies station in the NYC area, they cater the advertising to our generation (who buy recreational cars, travel, go on vacations, eat out, shop etc.) Maybe this is what Madison Ave should wake up and realize! Is there someone out there w/ ties to Madison Ave?
