BS Radio's KLTH/Portland OR Flips to 'K-Hits 106.7

CBS Radio flips AC KLTH-FM (K-Lite)/Portland, OR, to 60s & 70s as "K-Hits 106.7" under co-owned AAA KINK-FM PD Dennis Constantine and is running jockless. Former PD Chris Miller exits. Core artists include The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Beach Boys, Rod Stewart, Carole King, Simon & Garfunkel and Sonny & Cher, among others. KLTH VP/GM Stan Mak says market research showed there a "substantial appetite" for this format and that a large number of listeners were currently "underserved" by existing radio outlets. (01-09-06)
