I remember one day while I was working at an oldies station, I got a call while I was running American Gold from a 12 year old who asked for the Beach Boys. When I asked the caller his age, I asked him how he knew of the group. He reminded me of the videos on VH1 which at the time featured showings of great groups from TV appearances in the 60s.

The point is that people of all ages enjoy this music so don't believe everything ad agencies or CBS Radio would like you to about demographics.
