Yes, oldies music is everywhere! With the demise of CBSFM, I have become even more aware of the music being played in stores I shop in.
Recently a huge new ShopRite opened in my neighborhood. I decided to check it out and couldn't believe my ears. Not only were they playing oldies, but the volume was way up and people of all ages were singing along (a few were even 'dancing' behind their shopping carts!). I visit this store frequently and just last week decided to compliment the management on their choice of music. Well, I wasn't the first to do so. I was told that lots of people continue to fill out those little comment sheets and mention that the music is what brings them back!
