Ingram did sound up in years on the interview but Terry said he sounded old at CBS-FM. I own airchecks of Ingram at both CBS-FM in 2001 and at WABC in the 60's. He does not sound up in years on CBS-FM in 2001. At WABC on the 60's airchecks he was in his prime. So lets give the man some respect. He is the greatest DJ of all time. He was better in 2001 than the person who replaced him at CBS-FM. I want to ask you something Steve. You said you are 58 years old. Can you do the things at age 58 that you were able to do at age 28? Of course not. I am also stating that they were rumors that Ingram had been ill. Lets take that as a factor. I will say this one more time. If I could do a show on the radio at age 71 like he can do, I would be very happy. I think we have to consider that he was talking on the phone and not in the studio. Some people also are better in interviews. I will be the first to admit that Cousin Brucie sounded much better in his interview than Dan. So lets give the man a break and give him the respect he deserves.
