The reason that the oldies format was dropped (according to some of the folks posting messages on this board), is that the broadcasters and their advertisers only want young audiences.
Apparently, the ad people think that anyone over 35 is too senile to respond to their ads and spends no money on their products. We are now "demographics", not people.
