  • I do believe that numbers will be lower, but not because of the system but of the economy. I myself would love to put my daughter in LMNC State, but I do not have the extra funds right now and did not have time to get sponsors. This is a great system and the mistakes were just that and I believe that this will be a great pageant and will plan on going next year. To those who keep trying to stir the pot over PONC vs LMNC you need a new hobby. They are both great systems and you need to make a choice of where you want to compete and be supportive/respectful of those who choose other pageants. (NT) -- Anonymous, 06/ 3/08 12:44pm

But the mistake was known about early enough that they should have stopped the pageant, and re-added the scores. They could have waited till Sunday to crown. They selfishly decided to let it continue on, and deal with it later. Sending out those medalions with an oops attached to it, did not give the girls that really won their moment on stage. It just didn't mean the same the way it was handled. LMNC did not care then and they don't care now. That's why the numbers will be lower. It's the directors and their lack of care. It has nothing to do with PONC either so they don't need to blame them. The directors for PONC care and that's why their numbers will go up. (NT) -- Anonymous, 06/ 4/08 12:12am
  • As far as I know, no one has tried to blame PONC for LMNC,, so not real sure where that is coming from. But you will find there are issues with both systems and you learn to pick your battles.
