  - Agreed. Too few prelims in LMNC and the same girls seem to win all the time. It's a huge problem with LMNC and most I've talked to are tired of it and are going to PONC prelims where only one can win a prelim. and where you can choose from any number of prelims in the area. I wish LMNC state directors would become more visable and involved in promoting the system and recognize the problems with LMNC so that it can once again become THE most prestigious system again. I in some way think that only the winners should go and not runner ups. I know there would be more against that with the moms though. Think about it,when you get older and still doing pageants you wont have a choice. So get ready now. Then the pageants would have more contestants because everyone would want to go and win if they want to go to state. Change is not always bad.   - Agree too, but here's a thought - If you only allow the winner to attend state, then if that person chooses not to represent the title at state, then those fees paid will go to the first ru or first person willing to compete!         Re: FYI: Actually, I counted and 17 have taken place, and 6 more are scheduled which totals 23. I may be wrong on my totals if there are others that have just not been posted as of yet. The ones I have not seen a date for are PO Eastern Carolina, PO Cumberland Co, PO Robeson Co., or PO Charlotte which would total 27.     - The hotel for the past 3 years has filled up fast for PONC as there is ball tournaments at the same time. Things are not always what they seem. But if you are planning on going you need to get those reservations now. Both systems have a lot to offer. (NT) -- Anonymous, 04/ 6/08 8:30am

Even when they say NO, she keeps on begging and begging. Then, on to the next victim, calling and begging and insisting that they just HAVE to let their child compete. What ever you do, don't pay her to enter your child pretty soon, she'll start offering free entry just to get her numbers up. Just watch and see, it will happen! Required areas of competion for 0-6 are Beauty and Sportswear. Optionals are Photogenic, Sleepwear, Personality, Best Wardrobe and Most Beautiful.

Required areas of competion for 7-18 are Beauty along with on stage question and Talent. Optionals are Photogenic, Swimwer, Best Model, Most Beautiful and Best Wardrobe.

We will award age division titles as well as Mini-Majestic and Majestic. We will award cash on stage to the Mini-Majestic winner and cash to the Majestic winner providing we have 30 contestants paid!!!!!
If we do not have 30 girls the prize amounts will be 1/2ed.

Required areas of competion for 0-6 are Beauty and Sportswear. Optionals are Photogenic, Sleepwear, Personality, Best Wardrobe and Most Beautiful.

Required areas of competion for 7-18 are Beauty along with on stage question and Talent. Optionals are Photogenic, Swimwer, Best Model, Most Beautiful and Best Wardrobe.

We will award age division titles as well as Mini-Majestic and Majestic. We will award cash on stage to the Mini-Majestic winner and cash to the Majestic winner providing we have 30 contestants paid!!!!!
If we do not have 30 girls the prize amounts will be 1/2ed.

This is a fund-raiser for the Masonic Children's Home of Oxford. ALL proceeds will go the the LMNC state queens to present to the Masonic Children's Home at the state pageant in July. Applications are available now. You can email me at susanrogers01@aol.com and I will send one to you OR you can contact any of the state queens as they have the application also. The only required competition is Beauty. Entry fee for Beauty is ONLY $50. I did not put a deadline for entry hoping that we will get more entries. PLEASE let me know as SOON AS POSSIBLE if you plan to compete so that we can order the correct number of tiaras and other awards. Please support your state queens and their effort to raise money for the Masonic Home.

I saw on the "Official LMNC Board" where they are offering the winners next year either a cash amount of 10,000. or a 20,000.00 bond. Isn't that the same thing? Deadline for LMU is now OVER with the exception for those who are bringing their app. and fees to my house by 9pm tonight. I understand that I have three that are on their way to my house. I DO NOT and have NEVERE EXTENDED MY DEADLINES NO MATTER WHAT. As of right now tha date of the pageant Oct.19th and 20th are the correct dates of the compition!!!!! IF for any reason beyond my conytol the LMU date would have to be changed there still would be NO EXTENSION on any enteries. !!!!!! I will go forward with the amount of conteatnts that have meant the correct deadline, which was to be postmarked by yesterday Oct. 6th or in my hands by 9pm today Sunday Oct.7th. and these will be the girls who have the opportunity to go to LMNC with all their fees paid. that I would have people on here that obviously LIVED to crucify our system. So let me begin with an apology to Deborah, and to all of the readers of this board for the trash that has been posted here over the past couple of weeks.

I do not check this board on a regular basis, so I will take partial responsibility for its state. However I am taking a stand now. I WILL SHUT THIS BOARD DOWN BEFORE I SEE IT IN ANY WAY HURT LMNC AS A WHOLE!!! Mark my words ladies, if you want this board to remain open, choose your words wisely!!

The numbers are starting to grow, although it is still small. I just wanted to emphasis that there will be NO time extension and that there will be "2" fully paid majestic winners to LMNC, and that there is NO MIN. amount of contestants required to qualify for these majestic wins. The Halloween Compition will be Friday night, and awards for this and the photogenic awards and the online photo contest winner will be awarded, Afterwards we will have a Pizza Party complete with a Pinata. Deadline is only 2 weeks away. We understand that numbers are low this year, however we will move forward and are looking forward to having a great year. Please keep in mind that we do not extend deadlines for any reason, whatever number of contestants we have we will go with, there will be no combining of ages, and no min. number of contestants are required for the two main majestic awards to be given. Some of the numbers that were washing the board were aol. As previously posted, I banned their isp. So if you can not post, I am sorry.
