Subject: Who I think is Ash's heroine...

THIA!!! yes,Geary's cousin Cynthia!!! Tell me I'm not alone in this belief,please! My reasons for it ESPECIALLY NOT being Kat now,will be in another thread,but here's why I think it's Thia:
Pros-
The "A" in her name,for one.Also,she is what,like 6'2",and that would go well with Ash's 6'8".She LOVES shopping & shiny stuff,so you just KNOW that Simi & her would get along famously-they could shop for Diamonique & "Sparklies" together,LOL.Then there's the fact of her dressing up with those horns as a shopping demon on Halloween-wouldn't Simi & Ash just love her for that,and you know they can all go trick-r-treating as matching demons,LOL.Plus,there is mention of her listening to an Andy Gibb record,and he was the Bee Gees brother,so there's the disco thing,right?

CONS-
She seems really,REALLY shallow and self-absorbed,and i just can't see Ash being drawn to someone like that-he needs a giver,not another taker like Artemis.Plus,she is named for Artemis,said to be the spitting image of her,right down to the height and red hair.But that could be the icing on the cake,if you look at it this way-
Wouldn't it absolutely just KILL Artemis to see Ash fall for and end up with a woman who looks just like her,named for her,etc.,but ISN'T her? Think of the enormous blow to her ego and her sense of self-worth.Unless,of course,she tries to pretend that Ash was so enamored of her,he had to have someone that at least looked like her.
That's really the only few drawbacks I see to her being his girl-I'm pretty sure he would HATE for his woman to have red hair and be so similar to nemesis.

Ash can not stand the sight of Artemis why would he fall in love with a look alike. I think it is Tory. Check out page 17. Triantafyllo is her nickname from her grandfather. Who was saved by a stranger in WWII AND do you really believe that Tory is just letting go of the search for Atlantis. I don't think so. She is just biding her time until she is older. [> OK, we all know how bad I am at theories but I'm in the Tory as Ash's heroine camp. 1. Why write a story that happens 10 years ago? It gives Tory time to grow up. 2. Tory gave up way to easily when they said the search for atlantis was off. She was AS passionate about it as Geary and if Geary can hear Appolymi it stands to reason Tory could hear her. A great reason for her and Ash to interact in the future. 3. No one has mentioned ZTs reaction when he met Tory. 4. We could have met Tory in one of the other books but as a human and older which means it's time for Bo to pull out those notes, LOL. -- Leiha

It doesn't prove anything but it has an A and if Tory is a family nickname, in later books she might be known as something else completely. But she is significant - there's no way she's given up on Atlantis.
