Subject: I believe Ash is heading for a mental breakdown. This is like another straw on the camel back, so to say. I can believe his "lack" of reaction. He is a man on the edge. Can a former god have a breakdown?
In reply to: Leiha 's message, "I have to say I was disappointed in how this was handled. I thought Ash was too calm. Come on look at his reaction to Nick sleeping with Simi. Yes, he told Kat he learned from that but please, he just found out he had an 11,000 year old daughter. I would have liked to see more anguish, more anger and more pain. A couple of buildings falling down would have been nice. I really wanted to cry during this scene and I found it anti-climatic. Come on at least yell! I also found it weird that Kat would call Ash dad or daddy instead of the greek or atlantean term for dad." on 18:03:31 08/14/07 Tue

[> [> About the "daddy" bit, I thought that was done purposefully to help us connect more to that relationship than we do to Kat's with Artie. The term she uses for her mom doesn't resonate with us the same way it does when she's crying out for her daddy. Most people have a much more emotional connection to that sort of outburst. -- Ana, 10:51:13 08/18/07 Sat [1]
