Hi Surfer,

Whew! Did you say a mouth full. Ah, God's Word is so magnificient. It totally astounds me that people can think that men wrote the Bible without the help of the Holy Spirit. There is just no way.

Thank you for sharing the Word with us. Surfer, I will go so far as to say that sometimes a prophetic word is given to us, whether by another or to us personally by the Holy Spirit and at the time it is given it is unclear to us, might not even seem to totally line up with God's Word. But as we keep it in our hearts, lifting it up for greater understanding, meditating on it, we will see it come to pass if it is from the Lord. Sometimes it is not the word that is wrong but our understanding of it. I think this would fall in with the "weighing" that the Word speaks about.

Oh, praise God for His Word, His wondrous Word. Praise God for His Word made flesh. Jesus, precious Jesus! May we strive to know Him more, searching God's Word for His truth, drawing closer to Him for greater understanding. I have so much more to learn and how I pray to retain it. I am grateful for those who have such a knowledge of His Word and share it as you and Fresno Joe have done. God bless you both.

Love your sister in Christ,
Joan
