I was there and remember it well. We were all fighting for seats in that little living room because it was going to be the fight of the decade. All of us loved to see a good fight, but Groove and Bill were huge fans and had planned this event for days prior. I especially loved it because it wasn't my pay-per-view (as some other fights had been). Bingers were flying. Beers in abundance and everyone in an anticipatory mood. Then.......it was over so Fing fast that even those of us who did actually see it (and were not on the john or phone) it was hard to understand what we had just seen.

Bell, brief exchange, down, done.

I can remember Bill going off after he got off the phone. It was almost more dangerous to be in that room then it was in the ring with Mike. I couldn't stop laughing (like most of us), and that didn't help the situation. I can still smell Groove's present wafting down the steps as Bill continued to heave 4 letter words in abundance.

Thanks for the memory -- wouldn't have pulled that one from the depths of my cooked mind without help.
