I use this with my husband as well as with my clients. I can tend to voice my opinion too strongly sometimes. When I do, I come across like a "mom" telling the person what to do. I have learned instead of telling the person what I think is the right choice, to engage them in conversation and ask them questions about how they feel about it. While hearing the feelings they have on the subject, I can point out pros and cons. Often times we end up with a conclusion that was what my opinion was in the beginning but they feel like it was their own decision, with my input. I used it at work this morning and started out with a customer who didn't trust me and by the end she made a point to give me a compliment on how I handled things.

Kandis, we will miss seeing you this summer.

Tia
