How do you tell a male from a female. My wife and I just bought two black female mollies. We were told by the pet store employee that one of them is pregnant and is ready to give birth within two weeks. He also said that when it does give birth that the females will not eat the babies. Which is true? Will the female mollies eat the babies? At the pet store they had over 15 to 20 black female mollies in the tank and they also had over 10 babies. When I was observing the mollies that the females were not attacking nor eating the babies. So which is true? Will they eat the babies or not?
