Subject: what's up?

i think my kid is gonna survive his second bout of flu. fingers crossed. he's still got a killer cough...but no fever which is a blessing. he's never had a fever for so long before! last week was a lonnnnng damn week!

back at work. meh.

gonna shop like a madwomen next friday. i'm looking forward to it. i'm down 5-6 sizes so nothing fits. i finally decided to throw it all away. and nooooooooow i've got nothing to wear. *chuckle* oops.

my breakfast and lunch are sitting on the table at home...where i left them. *sigh* so i'm eating gum for breakfast and i've no idea what to do for lunch.

that's my exciting life. seriously. that's all i got.

Yay for smaller dress sizes, and a double yay for shopping. =D Sorry about the lunch though, may I suggest a serving of air followed by some tap water? :/

Good thing Jude is getting better, sounds sort of scary.

I had a pretty good weekend, with lots going on - on Thursday I was invited to a bread spread party, where the hosts provided the bread and everyone else brought their favorite toppings with (I brought dessert, the pineapple-tequila kabobs!) and then we went clubbing. On Friday my best friend from Bern came to visit and we went to see Polkamuski play with a bunch of uni friends. It was a great night and I may have gotten too close to my roommate's ex whom I have always thought was hot. On Saturday I went to visit Roman, Yvonne's boyfriend, and we cooked dinner together, went bar-hopping and I spent the night as his place.

I'm pretty exhausted now but I'd rather have a lot going on than nothing at all. Oh, and I have a job offer from the Red Cross, which is sounds amazing except I have so much going on this semester and the next that I don't know how I could manage everything. :/

i would have passed out in a heap though by the end of it.

working for the red cross would be amazing, nadia. but of course school comes first etc etc. great opportunity though.

He had pneumonia last year. I told him I didn't want to go to his funeral. He's it...all I have, well besides the 600 cousins, aunts and uncles, but he's mine. yah know? And he is a total freak about shots.

so he can suck it up.

jude didn't get it...cuz he had the flu at the time. and a 103.5 temp...for a week...and ended up getting bronchitis...and being off school for a week...and and and...just sayin'!
