Subject: Evening peeps.

How's the weather where everyone is? It's bloody sweltering here! Or at least it was when I was out in the midday sun earlier. Heading to a pub with a nice beer garden soon to take advantage of it.

Anyone got plans for the night? What's for dinner? I'm doing steak with a sweet chili sauce, salad, and crusty white bread. Nom nom nom. Think I need some food after my tiring day - my parents are crashing tomorrow night on their way to the airport, so I did lots of cleaning today. Planning on finishing it tomorrow.

And I may have cool news tomorrow. Not quite sure yet, trying not to get my hopes up. *is enigmatic* :-)

I'm having a break from building the new UI today and I'm building a Texperts iPhone Web App to show some investors! Woo hoo! It's fun, and I was getting bored of just doing the new UI day in and day out.

It's so gloriously hot (22C) and sunny here, I love it. I just wish I could have spent more time outside.

looking out the window i'll say...67 degrees. it was nice this morning though.

i also have to clean like a crazy person. dad visiting this weekend. place is reeeeeeeeally a mess. too much laundry. and i spent precious time last night glued to CNN. the election is a drug i just can't quit.

and you can't just be all "i have awesome news...maybe..." and then let us stew in it.

It's about 22C here as well, but apparently it'll be around 25 on Friday which will give me an excuse to wear my pretty new shorts. Can you tell I did some retail therapy today?

Also I hung out with a good friend who is off to Cambodia and India for 8 weeks, I'm going to miss her something awful!

Your dinner sounds so yummy! I had leftovers - baked zucchini with salsa and grated cheese on top, salad and ganache. A well-balanced meal. ;-.)

What a glorious day it's been! still lovely outside, just had a late dinner of baked potato with sweet chilli chicken (great minds think alike Kashy!) which is one of my favourite dishes, contemplating whether or not to have a sweet or not even though I'm full, I have such a sweet tooth. No cleaning for me, I leave that for Friday nights then blitz the place right through, I do need to sort out my food cupboard though, its getting really untidy and I can't seem to find ingredients I want when I'm cooking which always annoys me. At a bit of a loose end tonight, don't feel like watching tv, might chat to my daughter later on if she's online.

The northwest has been very very very slow to get to spring. The flowers are thriving...but the peeps are cold. Had an emergency hot water heater incident. Without water for TWO days...urban camping. But my landlord is the bestest of bestest. Came home tonight, brand new hot water heater. No mess, everything jake. I love him. Our lovely neighbors gave us keys to their house for showering. How cool is that?
