If you're not bothered about running Windows you don't need to worry about it. And Mac OS X isn't a big departure it's a small one; it's what Windows would be like if it was written by people who knew what they were doing.

you talk just like the techy guys used to at work, they had little time or patience with Windows but were obliged to use it because that's what the Uni used everywhere for everything, they had to keep us running, they all had Macs at home.
