I just woke up, is that the sun I see through my window? yay!!

no work today, got a ton of stuff done last night, didn't finish until 4am this morning but I'm glad I did it, I work much better through the night.

recieved a letter from an old flame this morning, I can't remember the last time someone wrote a personal letter to me, it seems to be all texts and e-mails nowadays, nice to get a hand written letter again.

I'm hungry, I'll start off with a mango, banana and greek yoghurt smoothie and take it from there, think I might bake some bread and cookies later on

I need to stop trolling bakingbites.com, it is not helping my sweet tooth at all. Mmmm, that smoothie sounds yummy!

Today I'm trying to book a hotel for our sejourn in Ticino, read a few papers, go to Bern and have dinner with my bestie before checking out the buskers festival. Should be fun!

Now I just need to find out what to wear, weather is sort of crazy lately. And I have a pretty new dress but an oddly-pattered sunburn on my back I don't feel like showcasing. Decisions, decisions!

just wanting to meet for lunch next week while he's here for a few days, it will be nice to see him again

the smoothie was delicious, now I'm munching salad leaves in a garlicky lemony dressing and feta cheese, yummy!

That's not a complaint, I like the heat, but I just wish I wasn't cooped up in the office. Work is ticking along. Paris is pretty empty, lots of people take the whole of August off for holiday. I'm just taking a week in August, going to Hvar, a Croatian island in the Adriatic, to see a friend of mine. In the autumn I'm going to take a week in New York with a stopover in Iceland.

That sounds like a very interesting place. I'm still working on my mom's stuff...will probably going back to Denver soon. shrug. must do what one has to do.
