Gendarme: Oh my God, you're right. But what the hell, zey're young, zey're in love, it's Paris, it's spring. Let zem.
Mother: But monsieur gendarme, monsieur gendarme, ze woman, she is dead.

Man: What the hell, we're young, we're in love, it's Paris, it's spring.
Gendarme: But monsieur, monsieur, ze woman she is dead.
Man: Noooo! She is not dead, she is English.

Strangely enough English women don't seem to find that joke that funny.
