had a nice dinner and drinks, got on well enough but no *spark* y'know?

I love the dress, you can go anywhere in a dress like that, all the boys will love it! it really is very pretty though, love the ruffles.

p.s. managed to drop my purse on the floor, bent down to pick it up and got my heel caught in the lacy bit at the bottom of my long skirt, elegant as always!

Are you planning on seeing him again? Sometimes the spark takes awhile. Haha, sounds like we were both good at embaressing ourselves last night!

I most certainly cannot, it's obscenely short and tight. I could maybe pass it off at Halloween or as an old-fashioned bathing suit.. it's not practical at all but I loved the shirred satin and I couldn't resist.

there followed wolf whistles and rather fruity comments about the "nice pair of pins" attached to said dress, see? what did I tell ya? a go anywhere do anything dress!! ;-)

Not sure about going out with him again to be honest, will be texting him when he gets back from Scotland at the end of next week so I've plenty of time to think about it and decide, he wants to go off somewhere for the weekend.

yeah, sometimes I'm a walking disaster area all on my own!

How long have you known this guy? Otherwise it's sort of fast.

I have to ask, due to my ignorance of British slang - what are pins? And while I'm flattered, I hate it when men whistle after you in the street, it's so obnoxious. I think I'll just wear the dress at home while baking :)

...wow, this comment makes me feel old-fashioned!

"pins" is brit slang for legs!

I only just met him really, a friend of a friend so to speak, he's ok as I say, don't know whether going off for the weekend would be a good idea or not to be honest, one minute I'm thinking "what the hell" and the next "no way", I'm really fed up though lately, it might just cheer me up a bit.

yeah, you're just a little old lady really aren't ya? ;-)

I'm secretly a prude but it looks like you found me out. ;p

Although a friend's friend is fine, I'd probably go too in that case!

I'd go, that way you know you aren't missing out on anything. It could be a weekend full of... pinwheels, if you get my drift. *smirk*

I am so unmotivated for moving tomorrow, ugh. Although I'm stupidly excited for Ikea.

good luck with the move tomorrow, hope it all goes well for you, where are you going to? is it far away from where you are now? will you have your own room etc etc etc?
